Seeking an Associate Childcare Teacher who will interact in a positive way with children, parents/guardians, and staff. Ability to provide a warm, nurturing, safe, and loving environment where self-concepts are enhanced, independence is encouraged, and individuality is respected. Commitment to maintaining professionalism in daily interactions with children, parents and staff; commitment to working cooperatively with co-workers and administration; respect for diversity and inclusion.

Monday-Friday / 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week

Specific Responsibilities of an Associate Childcare Teacher:

Assist in providing a warm and nurturing environment in which a child can grow physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively.
Work effectively as a team contributor
Use appropriate and positive behavior management techniques
Maintain required credentials, licensing and NAEYC standards
Participate in staff development activities; maintain required hours of training
Attend required staff meetings

Qualifications:

An Associate Childcare Teacher MUST have the following experience and attributes:

High School Diploma or HiSET/GED Certificate
A minimum of 9 ECE Credits from an accredited College or University
Ability to comply with and meet NH Childcare Licensing requirements
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
Must be able to react quickly and keep up with moving children
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust
