What You’ll Do

As the Food Safety and Compliance Manager, you will:

Develop and implement food safety and compliance programs that align with industry best practices.
Provide technical expertise to internal teams to enhance AGNE’s food safety culture and policies.
Lead and mentor a team of quality control associates, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.
Oversee internal audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Maintain and manage certifications, accreditations, HACCP plans, FSMA 204 initiatives, and training programs.
Collaborate with Operations to ensure quality standards are upheld from distribution through to retail.
Manage product recalls and withdrawals to ensure swift and effective resolution.
Analyze and interpret legislative updates to assess organizational impacts.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field.
HACCP Certification and deep knowledge of SQF Certification.
5-7 years of progressive experience in food safety management, preferably in a warehouse setting.
Strong leadership skills to manage and train a high-performing team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across all levels of the organization.
A proactive mindset to drive continuous improvement and maintain top-tier audit results.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Office and warehouse setting, including freezer environments.
Physical tasks such as bending, squatting, sitting, and reaching.
