Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Secretary to join our team at a busy medical office. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Duties

Computerize patient information and medical records accurately
Schedule patient appointments and manage the physician's calendar
Review medical documentation for accuracy and completeness
Use medical scheduling software such as eClinicalWorks and Eaglesoft
Handle phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
Assist with medical billing and coding using ICD-10 codes
Coordinate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies
Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times

Experience

Prior experience working in a medical office or dental clinic is preferred
Proficiency in using medical office software such as eClinicalWorks and Eaglesoft
Familiarity with medical scheduling procedures and documentation review
Knowledge of ICD-10 coding system
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $1,120.00 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
