Nursing Assistant Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team. This is our residents' home, we just happen to work here. Working at Hillsboro House allows us to deliver high-quality patient care, assist our residents with daily living activities, and ensure their comfort and safety in a home-like environment.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
Provide support in memory care and dementia care settings by engaging patients in activities that promote cognitive function.
Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
Assist with mobility needs, including transferring patients to and from beds or wheelchairs.
Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans effectively.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care needs and progress.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and compassion.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while providing quality care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
