Local, family-owned seafood company is seeking reliable part-time help to assist with our busy retail fish market. Past retail experience is preferred. Knowledge of seafood & fish is helpful, but not essential, as we will provide on-the-job training! A driver's license/reliable transportation is required. Minimum age for employment is 18.
Job duties will include :
- Daily set-up (AM) and break-down (PM) of the fish cases and product displays
- Some light food-prep/cooking: sandwiches, chowders, etc.
- Greeting and assisting customers with product selection
- Answering phones and taking customer orders
- Cashiering and bagging goods for customers
- Restocking product & keeping up with cleanliness of the store
- Some fish cutting (don't be intimidated...we will train!) including skinning fillets, portioning, etc.
