Primary Purpose
To oversee an interdisciplinary team that provides services to patients assigned to the Assertive Community Treatment team in the CSP program. Participates as an active member of the agency’s management team. Ensures quality and comprehensive services.
Description Of Duties & Tasks
Under the direction of the Program Director, and within the center’s program policies and procedures, performs the following functions:
Essential Functions
- Oversees the referrals to the team and assigns staff in a timely manner.
- In conjunction with the Director, has responsibility for recruiting new staff members, to include screening candidates, participating in interview sessions and assisting in the hiring decision.
- Facilitates team meetings on a daily basis to present and or review cases in accordance with He-M standards and programmatic issues.
- Provides regular supervision with a clinical and administrative focus in an effort to ensure best practice standards are met, and to ensure compliance with agency corporate compliance standards and to identify staff development needs. Conducts annual performance evaluations in a timely fashion with constructive feedback and recommendations or performance improvement plans as indicated.
- Assures quality and timely documentation on records/paperwork of staff on their teams according to established standards.
- Provides clinical support and crisis intervention as needed.
- Educates and orients staff to program philosophy/values and goals to ensure understanding of, commitment to, and cohesiveness of program goals and vision.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of the ACT fidelity scale and implements best practices to ensure strong adherence to all fidelity measures.
- Has general knowledge of the program’s budget and monitors financial and statistical data to manage the program’s costs, revenues, and overall service delivery.
- Is responsible for keeping Program Director informed of pertinent issues.
- Participates in community based organizations as a representative of Lakes Region Mental Health and participates on agency committees.
- May perform other related job duties as assigned by the Program Director.

- Working knowledge of diagnosis, treatment planning, medications, counseling and crisis intervention techniques.
- Ability to organize work-load so that his/her clinical and administrative duties are completed in a timely and thorough manner without the need for direct supervision.
- Understands the LRMH mission and applies this knowledge productively to shape internal policies and external contacts.
- Must be able to establish a rapport with the clients. Must treat the clients with dignity and respect.
- Must be capable of working closely with other agency staff to expand the knowledge of mental health services both within the CSP Team and across to other programs.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to read and analyze data and reports.
- Must be able to tolerate periods of heavy workload, to include long working hours and the balancing of conflicting demands.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other approved credentials as specified in He-M426-11 and He-M426-13.
Experience: 1 to 2 years experience preferred.
License/Certifications: State licensure preferred. Must be license eligible in NH. Valid NH driver’s license. Able to pass LRMH criminal records and motor vehicle screening. Must maintain personal auto insurance at a level commensurate with agency requirements.
Work Schedule
Generally works Monday through Friday with occasional requirements to cover evenings and weekends and be available by phone after hours as needed.
Salary
This is a full time exempt position with annual compensation of $67,000/year for an unlicensed clinician and $74,000/year for a State of NH Licensed Clinician. This position also comes with a $3,000 sign on bonus.
