Position Overview
Our Process Engineer is responsible for PPD electronic manufacturing processes and equipment, ensuring they meet customer specifications, maintain good quality, and are delivered on time.
Job Function
- Design and plan equipment layout
- Maintain and troubleshoot process equipment
- Specify new equipment as required by new projects
- Design, develop, test, and/or source tools and fixtures to meet customer specifications
- Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency
- Monitor process performance and capability
- Create process documentation and operating procedures (SOPs)
Skills Required
- Excellent analytical and math skills
- Knowledge of SMT process engineering software systems
- Proven ability to identify, assess, and solve problems
- Hands-on attitude
