We are looking for an experienced
HR Director to join our growing HR Team. Your role is to partner with our leaders to align our people and talent strategies with our business priorities. You’ll ensure we have the right skill sets, organizational structure and environment to foster a high performing team. The person hired for this position will need to be located in our
northeast market, preferably near one of our northeast locations. The role requires
30% travel.
What will you be doing?
- Headcount Planning: Collaborate with leadership to design optimal organizational structures, manage budgets, and promote internal mobility and career development.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and career development. Partner with business leaders to resolve HR issues and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Compensation: Serve as the central contact for compensation needs, working with the Total Rewards team to implement hiring, incentives, and reward strategies.
- Coaching & Leadership Development: Support managers with coaching and development plans. Foster leadership growth and help navigate work-related challenges.
- Problem Solving: Analyze complex HR challenges, providing actionable solutions that align with business needs.
- Talent Management: Develop and execute talent plans to attract, develop, and retain key skills for business success.
- Employee Development: Partner with the Learning team to implement development programs like Individual Development Plans, mentorships, and learning paths.
- Performance Management: Support performance calibration and introduce innovative approaches to ensure an effective performance management system.
- Data Analytics: Leverage data to guide people decisions and drive positive change within the organization.
- Collaboration - Work effectively across all areas of the business and other areas of HR including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development.
Job Requirements

- 10+ years of HR management experience delivering impactful people and culture strategies in distributed workforces.
- Proven experience leading teams and coaching managers to excel in people management.
- Skilled in program management, from concept to execution, driving positive organizational change.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at public speaking and resolving challenges with Executives, Managers, and Employees.
- Proactive problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and creates effective solutions.
- Expertise in process improvement and change management, evolving processes for greater efficiency.
- Willingness and ability to travel, staying connected with facilities and maintaining a pulse on operations.
- Highly organized, able to create order in chaos.
- Low ego with a growth mindset, empathy, and sound judgment to build trust and make thoughtful decisions.
- Proven experience in HR, with a focus on business partnership and talent management.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
