Role Overview
We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Vice President of Human Resources to assume responsibility for directing and overseeing the Company’s Human Capital Management (HCM) group. As a key position reporting directly to the CEO, candidates must have strong leadership qualities, strategic thinking abilities, and effective people management skills. The Vice President is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices across the suite of HCM disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive Human Resources strategy that integrates and closely aligns with the business strategy
- Continuously improve all HR processes and programs and identify and implement new ones, including training, recruiting, performance management, employee benefits, and other processes
- Investigate, monitoring, and resolving complex employee situations from origin to conclusion while minimizing organizational risk
- Provide guidance and leadership to the human capital management team and assist with resolving human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.
- Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law and other aspects of human resources
- Provide oversight of the requirements for the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS), including maintaining the quality management system (QMS) and process owner of Quality Management
- Oversee global personnel operations
- Be willing to travel both domestically and internationally
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree highly preferred.
- Proven experience as VP of HR or other senior HR role, preferably in a middle market growth company
- Experience in strategic planning and implementation
- Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, benefits, etc.)
- Knowledge of local and international labor law
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic evolving environment
