Adimab is the leading technology provider for therapeutic antibody drug discovery, focusing solely on our partnerships without pursuing an internal product pipeline. Since 2009, we have partnered with over 130 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, generating more than 600 therapeutic programs, of which more than 75 have entered clinical trials.
Role overview:
We are seeking a focused and enthusiastic Scientist to join our Antibody Engineering group. The successful candidate will have prior experience in protein engineering and design, display technologies (yeast, phage, or mammalian), structural biology, and scientific writing. Specific application areas for this role include executing Adimab’s discovery platform on funded discovery projects, as well as optimizing and characterizing lead antibodies. In addition, platform technology development, macromolecular structure determination, and scientific writing are expected.
Responsibilities:
- Execute Adimab’s antibody discovery and optimization platform while coordinating projects with Adimab’s collaborators and partners
- Expand and refine Adimab’s proprietary yeast presentation technology
- Interpret data and present work at both internal and external meetings
Needed upon hire:
- Ph.D. in Structural Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in X-ray crystallography or atomic-resolution single-particle Cryo-EM, including sample preparation, data collection, data processing and structure determination/refinement
- Hands-on experience with antibody discovery and protein engineering
- Familiarity with display systems (yeast, phage, or mammalian)
- Strong background in protein design, purification, and analysis
- Adaptable and productive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills with a focus on organization, execution and prioritization
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey scientific concepts effectively to colleagues and partner
- Proven track record of research accomplishments with at least two peer-reviewed scientific publications
- Demonstrated independent thought, creativity, and enthusiasm
