Position Purpose

To serve as the first contact with the Health Service for students and visitors by responding to questions and inquiries on a broad range of clinical and administrative issues by telephone or in person.

Join our dedicated team at the Dartmouth Student Health Service, affectionately known as “Dick’s House,” as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you’ll use your medical administrative experience to provide exceptional, patient-centered care within our historic building, which has been serving Dartmouth students since 1927. Our mission is to deliver inclusive, culturally sensitive healthcare to a diverse student population, supporting their personal wellness as the foundation for academic and lifelong success. Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Associates or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Competency with standard computer applications, including
• e-mail.
• Ability to understand and observe strict confidentiality.
• Demonstrated proficiency managing high phone volume.
• Strong and empathetic listening skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated team player.
• Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Two years in a medical office or related setting.
• Prior experience with computerized appointment system.

Hiring Range $23.00- $25.00

Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm with 30 minute lunch.
