Title: Research Associate - Molecular Biology Core

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled researcher to join our cloning team. Successful candidates will support Adimab's novel antibody discovery, maturation, and production platform by performing core laboratory services, maintaining laboratory stocks, and taking on other responsibilities that may arise.
Responsibilities
- Inoculation and plasmid isolation, sequencing set up, and sequence analysis
- Organizing and maintaining plasmid DNA stocks
- Compiling plasmid details for downstream mammalian transfection
- Primer design, colony PCR, and some cloning to support the rest of the team as needed
- Operate automation equipment according to standard protocols
- Assist with purchasing and maintenance of laboratory supplies and equipment
- Preparing reagents, buffers, and media
Needed upon hire
- B.S. with experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field
- 1–3 years of laboratory experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work within defined standard operating procedures
- Experience using Excel and knowledge of basic chemical calculations
- Experience using Benchling and/or other sequence analysis software preferred
- Comfortable and productive in a fast-paced environment of ambiguity and change
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Strong time-management skills and ability to multitask
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Proven team player, who can work independently when appropriate
