Works as lead of the finance team to integrate functionality and expertise with other facets of the organization to improve sales, operations, engineering, quality, and the overall effectiveness of the company.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Oversees program control, cost reporting, pricing, and variance analysis
Directs the development of program baseline plans and profit and loss analysis
Directs monthly project/program financial management and forecasting
Directs the creation, implementation, and execution of reporting solutions and coordinates ad hoc needs with other functions
Increases financial FAR compliance, internal accountability, and overall financial awareness
Integrates the finance department into day-to-day operations
Responsible for program control including the management of proposal efforts, annual indirect rate generation, forecasting, variance reporting, and system compliance
Directs and trains both direct and indirect employees in all financial aspects pertinent to program lifecycle from RFP to closure
Leads or assists in audits and certification
Increases the effectiveness of finance contract negotiations and contract management through proposed solutions and recommendations
Partners with controller to streamline order entry and accounting execution in line with cash flow needs to include the incorporation of performance-based payment milestones
Reduces and eliminates barriers and obstacles to improve overall cost and schedule performance
Participates and leads meetings as required
Makes changes to internal processes and procedures to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and value
Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for creating a professional, safe, and clean environment evidenced by: being at work on time to perform assigned duties, following the policies of Granite State Manufacturing, always wearing safety glasses in designated areas, maintaining a neat and orderly work area, and following safety practices to prevent errors

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, motivated, organized, and have a proven track record with taking initiative and completing tasks on time
Seeking a quick learner, is financial and IT systems savvy, and has the ability to learn and adjust through an environment undergoing systems cut-over and change
Experience with FAR and other Government Contracting Regulations, policies, and procedures
