We are seeking a CAD Technician II to join our team. This position will be remote.

Responsibilities:

Produce simple to complex, accurate maps, drawings, and schematics in accordance with company standards from various maps, sketches, data sources, and from verbal or written communication
Utilize Civil 3D to draft site plans, groundwater contour maps, geologic cross sections and other detailed maps relating to environmental projects
Develop site layouts, grading plans, utility plans, profiles and details
Work independently to prepare accurate, complete, and well-composed maps and figures
Assist with plan set assembly, distribution, and filing
Meet deadlines and complete work within established project budgets
Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, project managers and engineers

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent
- Relative associate degree is preferred
Experience with using Civil 3D software is required
1-3 years of experience performing drafting or design-related work with an environmental or civil engineering firm
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Able to work from various sources in the development of simple drawings with minimal guidance and complex drawings with some guidance
Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, and be self-motivated
Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as a technical designer
