Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing various administrative tasks, scheduling technicians, supporting customers and staff, and facilitating communication across departments. This position requires a blend of administrative skills and interpersonal abilities to effectively manage office functions and contribute to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for customers and staff.
- Handle permit and scheduling planning, including logistics for job installations.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette while answering calls and directing inquiries appropriately.
- Assist with budgeting processes and monitor expenses related to office operations.
- Support human resources functions, including onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
- Serve as a clerk for various administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management.
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in CRM and scheduling management tools and office software applications.
- Experience in construction scheduling is a plus.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management is desirable.
- Knowledge of human resources practices is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in customer excellence and staff efficiency.
