We are seeking a full time veterinary technician to join the busy team at our mixed animal practice in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. A minimum of 1 year of previous veterinary technician/assistant experience is strongly preferred. Certification is preferred, but not required. Applicants are expected to be comfortable with small animal restraint, and experience working with large animals is a plus.
Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting Veterinarians during exams, restraint of animals, radiology, nursing care of patients, running laboratory tests, routinely lifting 50 or more pounds, stocking and cleaning.
Applicants with greater technical skills may be offered additional duties and compensated accordingly. The right applicant will need to be reliable, organized, honest and friendly. Must be a team player, as well as self-motivated and able to work on their own.
