Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Lineperson to join our team. As a Lineperson, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to strand and fiber optic installations, including bucket operation, cabling, make ready, and underground placement. This is a full-time position with opportunities for field service and career advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Operate bucket trucks to perform aerial constuction of strand and fiber. Knowledge of ADSS install is a plus.
- Perform make ready on poles as required
- Place cables in existing conduit or assist in building new conduits
- Perform drop work as required.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with fiber optic OSP builds
- Proficient in bucket truck operation and safety procedures
- Knowledge of rigging techniques for cable installation
- Familiarity with make ready and transfers
- Ability to perform field service visits and provide excellent customer service
- ADSS, splicing and testing of fiber are a plus
