As a Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting and improving the credit union’s business processes, systems and analytics. This position requires you to be self-directed, and eager to grow your knowledge.
Business Analyst I
Expected Job Duties
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through maintenance, validation and verification
- Contribute to the data warehouse implementation and ongoing administration, including report, dashboard and workflow building
- Participate in short- and long-term planning to select and utilize technologies to identify and meet credit union objectives
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance operations
- Administer and support credit union systems to include implementation and testing of system configurations (e.g. Nautilus, DNA)
- Test and train on new applications and enhancements to existing applications
- Work with the credit union’s imaging system, ensuring documents are indexed accurately
- Help Desk Tickets (user maintenance, employee permissions, etc)
- Employee Permission Audits (DNA, cView, Eltropy, DocuSign, Instant Open)
- Open and follow through on vendor tickets or requests to ensure timely resolution
Skill Requirements
- Understanding of operating environments and business systems (e.g DNA, Nautilus)
- Ability to prioritize tasks, display initiative and work proactively and independently
- Ability to think big picture, balance risks and rewards to make informed recommendations for maximum impact; strong vision for long-term goals.
- Ability to communicate professionally with cross-functional teams
- Effective problem resolution skills including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
Education/ Experience Requirements
- Associate’s degree or certification in a related field; or 2-5 years of experience in the Financial Services industry working with related systems is preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
