User Interface Designer/Developer to join our Digital Platforms & User Experience team and help craft world-class digital experiences!
What You’ll Do
Visual & Interaction Design
- Create user-friendly, responsive, and visually stunning web interfaces.
- Design digital assets (infographics, icons, banners) and ensure visual consistency across all platforms.
- Use Figma, Adobe’s suite, and other UX/UI tools to create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes.
- Stay ahead of web design trends and share your insights with the team.
Front-End Development
- Code your designs. Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like Angular, Bootstrap, and JQuery to bring web interfaces to life.
- Help ensure web accessibility and performance across different platforms.
- Collaborate with full-stack developers to ensure seamless integration and top-notch website performance.
User Interface Support
- Maintain and troubleshoot customer-facing websites to ensure smooth functionality and a top-notch user experience.
- Update website content, fix performance issues, and keep things running smoothly.
Special Projects & More
- Work with data professionals, developers, and others as we leverage AI and continue to integrate emerging technologies.
What We’re Looking For - Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in UI design and front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Expertise in front-end frameworks (Angular, Bootstrap, JQuery).
- Experience with accessibility (WCAG 2.0, Section 508 compliance).
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma, XD, and IDEs like Visual Studio.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or similar, or 2+ years of relevant experience.
Location: Portsmouth, NH - Hybrid Role
Schedule: Enjoy the perfect balance of in-office collaboration and remote work with a Hybrid schedule, plus the option to work from home a few days a week!
Compensation: The typical starting salary would be between $74k-88k/year, based on qualifications and experience as it relates to our requirements. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary employee bonus plan based on company metric performance as well as a full suite of benefits, listed below.
