Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Health Information Assistant. The Health Information Assistant works with the Health Information Manager in the management of all clinical records and all archived organizational records in compliance with State and Federal regulations and laws AND promotes and supports quality assurance, quality improvement, compliance, and risk management initiatives across the Agency.
Responsibilities
- Assists with monitoring, planning for and addressing long-term space needs and retrieval efficiencies. Riverbend’s clinical records and organizational archives.
- Assists with ongoing management of the Agency’s electronic and paper records.
- Assists with responding to all internal and external requests for information on clients and/or for archived organizational records.
- Assists with communicating with program staff when clinical information for active clients is requested from external sources and assists in responding to those requests per program input.
- Assists with communicating with program staff when clinical information is received from external sources and added to Riverbend's electronic record (OnPhase).
- Participates as a member of the Quality Assurance Team and carries out other assigned QA projects aimed at process improvement and enhanced efficiencies.
Education And/or Experience Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years’ experience in diverse office work is required.
- Medical records experience preferred.
