Position Overview:
Ivybrook Academy in Londonderry, NH, is seeking an experienced and passionate Preschool Director to lead our school with excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, leadership experience, organizational, and communication skills, ability to provide exceptional customer service, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and inspiring learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, engaging, and high-quality educational experience.
- Hire, train, and mentor a team of dedicated educators, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, staff, and the community.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and Ivybrook Academy standards.
- Manage school budgets, enrollment, and administrative responsibilities.
- Plan and coordinate events, open houses, and community engagement initiatives.
- Provide ongoing professional development and support for staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of early childhood best practices and developmental milestones.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Excellent organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of licensing requirements and early childhood education regulations in New Hampshire.
- Passion for fostering a nurturing and inspiring learning environment.
