Responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of complex gas systems projects, covering areas such as production, storage, transfer, and reprocessing. This role requires coordinating various project resources and teams to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering)
- 10+ years of experience working with gas systems, low-temperature technologies, or energy projects
- Practical experience with equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting in field environments
- Licensure as a professional engineer is highly valued
- Proficient in business and project software tools
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to gas systems and safety
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with specifying and working with industrial equipment, including pumps, valves, and heat exchangers
- Proven ability to lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams on technical projects
- Skilled in preparing cost evaluations and client proposals
- Hands-on knowledge of commissioning and resolving issues during system startup phases
- Expertise in managing schedules, budgets, and client communications
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of technical projects, including design, procurement, and construction
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets, resolving any challenges that arise
- Develop and review technical specifications for equipment and processes
- Provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership through regular communication
- Coordinate with both internal teams and external contractors to achieve project goals
- Support system commissioning and resolve operational issues during startup phases
- Review and validate technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Stay current with applicable technical and safety standards
- Collaborate with design teams on detailed technical drawings for system installations
- Travel occasionally to project sites as required (10-15%)
