FedPoint is seeking a
Business Systems Analyst to join our team and act as the ultimate liaison between business stakeholders and software developers.
As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in understanding business needs and translating them into system requirements that meet organizational goals. You’ll help ensure systems run smoothly through data health checks, controls, and reports. Collaborating with technical teams in an agile environment, you’ll bridge the gap between business stakeholders and developers to deliver effective system solutions. Your expertise will ensure the systems work as intended and help prepare teams for successful handoffs.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Requirements
- Gather and clarify system requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into user-friendly stories for developers.
- Prioritize and define the "must-have" features for new projects.
- Make sure technical teams understand what the business needs.
- Understand and document business workflows.
- Work with other BSAs and departments responsible for Digital Platforms and User Experience.
- Testing
- Work with the agile team to test system builds and ensure they meet requirements.
- Track down and fix bugs (no bug too small!)
- Keep stakeholders updated on testing progress.
- Help with user testing to make sure everything works as planned.
- Team Support
- Mentor team members and share knowledge.
- Provide feedback for team training opportunities.
- Documentation & Production Prep
- Ensure all use cases and important stories are documented.
- Assist business teams during the training phase.
- Summarize changes and share updates with the team.
- Operations Support
- Generate reports and assist with data requests.
- Assist with tracking KPIs and metrics.
What You’ll Bring
- A high school diploma or GED is required; additional certifications or coursework in business or systems analysis is a plus. Associate/Bachelors preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related analytical role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in gathering and writing business requirements, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching peers and providing training support.
- Skilled in facilitating meetings, leading problem-solving sessions, and building group consensus.
- Experience with workflow and automation tools.
- Solid experience creating business reports, especially with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Proven ability to capture and communicate end-to-end technical solutions.
- Understanding of Javascript or Object Oriented Programming concepts.
- Experience in insurance or benefits administration operations is highly desirable.
Location: Portsmouth, NH - Hybrid Role

Compensation: The typical starting salary would be between $77,793 and $91,521/year, based on qualifications and experience as it relates to our requirements. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary employee bonus plan based on company metric performance as well as a full suite of benefits, listed below.
