Atlantic Fuels is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Technician Apprentice to join our growing Service team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to perform maintenance, installation, and repair of oil and gas burner systems. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a basic understanding of mechanical systems who are interested in learning the trade and gaining hands-on experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and adjustments to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of oil and gas burner systems.
- Learn and adhere to safety standards and protocols for handling fuel systems and other hazardous materials.
- Support technicians with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for oil and gas burner equipment.
- Document work completed, including parts used, time spent, and services performed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, ensuring professionalism and clarity.

Requirements:
- Trade school or relevant certification (e.g., HVAC, Oil Burner, or Gas Technician) preferred, or be actively pursuing
- Basic understanding of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Willingness to pursue certifications as necessary.
