Stoneface Brewing is seeking an experienced production planning and supply chain manager. The person in this position works closely with the Brewing, Packaging, Sales, and Financial department leadership to ensure optimal sales & production forecasting and reporting, scheduling of operations, material procurement, inventory management practices, transportation coordination, and regulatory compliance. This key support role requires a highly organized, analytical individual who can manage multiple ongoing projects and expectations of various stakeholders. With a broad view of the production operations, sales activities, depletion forecasts, and expense benchmarks, this role is a key participant in continuous process improvement projects.
Core Responsibilities:
Materials & Resource Planning: Inventory, track, monitor, forecast, cost, and procure brewing & packaging raw materials, in-process beer, and finished goods, and deliver internal updates on these business areas.
- Manage vendor relationships, including keg logistics, can shells, labels, etc., and otherwise provide procurement support in the form of tracking, costing, forecasting, and reporting across departments.
- Maintain inventory control procedures and accuracy; coordinate cycle and end-of-month inventory counting and reconciliation processes and reporting.
Production Forecasting & Analysis: Incorporate feedback and inputs from across the organization, as well as external business partners and suppliers, to develop and manage the brewing and packaging schedules.
- Consider company goals/targets, production priorities & constraints, distribution inventory and depletions, Tasting Room sales, and market feedback provided by the Sales, Marketing, and Tasting Room teams.
- Coordinate the production schedules (brewing & packaging) across in-house and contract partners.
Supply Chain & Logistics: Manage in-house inventory of ingredients and other raw materials, as well as finished goods; manage order planning and fulfillment and assist with accounting for wholesaler/distributor partners; coordinate third-party transportation & logistics as needed.
Pricing Management & Brand Registrations: Oversee start-to-end pricing process byworking with the Production Team on recipe costing and working with Sales & Marketing on pricing; maintain records, resources, and tools to calculate cost, revenue, pricing, and margin, as needed; manage new product set-ups, including UPCs, COLA and state registrations, and wholesaler new-item setups.
Data Management & Reporting: Create and maintain production, sales, and financial historicals records.
Internal Reporting & Development: Drive benchmarking, efficiency, transparency, and cross-department collaboration with regular internal reporting and enablement of tools & templates, supporting stakeholders across the organization.
Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and submit all Federal & State tax filings, mandatory reports of operation, annual license renewals and new applications, new brand registrations, and R&D tax credit applications.
Special Projects: Conduct business project evaluations and recommendations, such as ROI analysis on production projects, recipe costing, profitability analysis, materials cost comparisons, etc.
- Assist with conducting business research by gathering data, identifying options, performing cost-benefits analysis, and creating non-routine reports and/or proposals with detailed analysis to create or revise business processes and materials.

Compensation:
- Base salary (starting at $55,000/year)
