Business Systems Analyst!
As our
Business Systems Analyst, you’ll primarily focus on data accuracy, reporting, and analysis to support key business decisions. You’ll be the expert in generating reports, maintaining data health, and ensuring our systems are optimized for delivering high-quality data insights.
Your Key Responsibilities
Data Health & Analysis
- Ensure backend systems and databases are capturing and calculating the necessary data correctly.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the right data elements are available for reporting and analysis.
- Assist with identifying opportunities to improve data processes and streamline reporting methods.
Data & Reporting Focus
- Create regular and ad-hoc reports to support business needs and external reporting requirements.
- Measure KPIs and metrics performance, providing actionable insights through data visualizations or raw data as requested.
- Review and verify data accuracy, ensuring every report meets the highest standards.
Requirements Gathering With a Data Lens
- Collect business requirements focused on data and reporting needs.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data requirements are clear and actionable for technical teams.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Test data-related builds, ensuring the outputs meet the reporting and data quality standards.
- Log defects and collaborate with the team to resolve data issues, ensuring the system delivers the right data outputs.
What You’ll Bring
- A high school diploma or GED is required; additional certifications or coursework in business or systems analysis is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related analytical role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in gathering and writing business requirements, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in developing and running complex queries for data extraction, reporting, and analysis.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching peers and providing training support.
- Skilled in facilitating meetings, leading problem-solving sessions, and building group consensus.
- Solid experience in business reporting, especially with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Proven ability to capture and communicate end-to-end technical solutions.
- Experience in insurance or benefits administration operations is highly desirable.
Location: Portsmouth, NH - Hybrid Role

Compensation: The typical starting salary would be between $77,793 and $91,521/year, based on qualifications and experience as it relates to our requirements. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary employee bonus plan based on company metric performance as well as a full suite of benefits, listed below.
