Key Responsibilities
- HR Strategy & Program Oversight: Lead the development and execution of HR strategy that aligns with FedPoint’s mission and business goals. Oversee the administration of key programs that ensure our workforce is motivated, engaged, and supported through continuous improvement efforts.
- Attract & Acquire Talent: Drive efforts to attract, recruit, and onboard top-tier talent, ensuring that we’re reaching the widest and most diverse candidate pool while complying with federal and state laws. Your leadership in employer branding and recruitment strategies will help build strong pipelines to support FedPoint’s future growth.
- Retain & Engage Talent: Manage and monitor the pulse of the organization, using employee surveys and workforce metrics to inform HR programs that support engagement and retention. Develop recognition programs, competitive compensation structures, and ensure effective benefits management to maximize employee satisfaction and retention.
- Developing Talent: Cultivate an environment that fosters skill development and career advancement. Guide the creation and implementation of leadership development programs and offer coaching and feedback that helps employees thrive and grow within the organization.
- Offboarding Talent: Analyze turnover metrics, implementing necessary interventions to retain talent. Ensure offboarding processes are respectful and constructive, providing valuable insights into employee experiences to drive continuous improvement.
- Leadership & Consultation: Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the HR team, ensuring that they are aligned with organizational goals. Work closely with senior leadership on strategic business plans and organizational development efforts, particularly those with people-centric impacts.
- Legal Compliance & Policy Development: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that ensure FedPoint remains compliant with applicable laws, including government contracts and FARs. You’ll play a key role in managing HR-related legal filings and government submissions.
- Budget & Financial Oversight: Manage the HR department’s budget and collaborate with finance to ensure the effective allocation of resources, including overseeing employee benefits budgets and cost management.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), along with current HR designation, such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP.
- 10+ years of experience in HR, with 5+ years in senior HR management or executive positions.
- Demonstrated experience managing the overall HR function including a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a HR Generalist role, with at least 5 in a senior HR management or executive position.
- Solid knowledge of all core HR functions (benefits, compensation, organizational development, payroll, employee relations, training and development, talent acquisition, and legal and administrative reporting requirements).
- Insurance and/or employee benefits industry experience
- Experience working at an organization with Federal or State government contracting a plus.
