Full Job Description:
Wigglebutts Play All Daycare LLC is seeking an experienced Manager Professional with shift management experience. This position is a working manager position with hours of operation between 6:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday with hopes of expanding to accept grooming and boarding clients.
This is a working position and expected tasks to include as follows. Working in the yards with other employees and dog groups, relieving lunches and breaks, managing day to day business, taking payments, checking invoices and ensuring daycare package balances are correct, facilitating and designating cleaning tasks among employees, grouping dogs according to personalities, facilitating play and rest time for dogs attending daycare, supervising employees, promoting excellent customer service, greeting customers and showing care for their dogs when taking their pets in for daycare, promoting excellent care and attention to dogs among employees, problem resolution with employees and dogs, maintaining a safe work environment for dogs, customers and employees.
The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a love for all pets. Potential applicants should have experience in a doggy daycare environment and customer service. We currently run Monday through Friday 6:30am-5:30pm and potential managers should have availability to work anywhere between these times.

Expected Operation Tasks:
- Assists the business owners with the daily operations of the business
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate scheduling throughout the week and ensures staff levels are appropriate
- Creates and administers schedules
- Ensures staff scheduling levels are appropriate including sending employees home when attendance is low
- Monitors staff time punches including Time Clock Adjustment and meal breaks
- Monitors overtime and adjusts schedules as needed
- Assists with coverage on the floor during staff shortages or to cover staff breaks/meal periods
- Participates in staff training to ensure employees are kept up to date with policies and procedures; ability to conduct training on an as needed basis. Monitors the computer based training program we currently facilitate.
- Ability to become fully knowledgeable with Kennel Connection scheduling software, and the ability to train new employees on the software
- Participates in staff meetings when scheduled
- Communicates with both business owners with issues and insights within business operations. Offers suggestions and improvements when opportunities are seen.
- Assists at the front desk as needed with a full understanding of Client Services Representative duties
- Resolves complaints in a professional and timely manner while ensuring customer retention. Sharing complaints and or issues with the business owners
- Assists with tours for visitors and new clients when business owners are not available.
- Transports animals needing medical attention if needed to the nearest veterinary hospital
- Assists with accident reports and investigation for all injuries to guests, pets and employees, communicating any filed reports with the business owners.
- Communicates/updates business owners on health related condition of pets as needed
- Assists with oversight of cleanliness and sanitation of the facility ie: designating cleaning tasks and ensuring it is completed
- Assists in maintaining the building and equipment in good repair. Creating a weekly list of repair items to be shared with the business owners
- Compiles list of supplies needed and shared with business owners to purchase
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be passionate about and comfortable with the care of dogs.
- Possess a dynamic and encouraging leadership style, with a proactive nature and willingness to help where needed
- Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, delivering results is challenging situations
- Ability to effectively communicate with both business owners and operations staff in multiple ways , including person to person, email, texting and phone conversations
- Ability to encourage a spirit of collaboration among teams and be proactive
Experience
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- Pet Care: 1 year (preferred)

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
