Located in Wilton, NH, Kimball Physics, Inc. is a company led by physicists and composed of a team of professional and creative co-workers – all of whom share the desire to advance humankind by doing good physics and having fun while doing so. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced CAD Drafter to join our team.
The campus is an informal atmosphere in a rural location surrounded by rolling hills, deep woods, quiet ponds and many hiking trails.
Position Overview
This position is responsible for translating technical designs into technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collects drawings, data, and notes for a project, and then creates technical drawings that specify dimensions, production methods, and materials
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure the accuracy of designs
- Evaluate existing drawings and develop new and improved drawings
- Troubleshoot drafting issues
- Ensure drawings meet industry standards and specifications
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, bulletins and supplemental instructions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
